A Crafted Artist, Not a Born Talented…!

In my childhood, I was never called an artist. I didn’t sketch in notebooks or win any painting prizes. But I loved performing dramas at school, and I was always fascinated by movies — the colours, the emotions, the stories. My first creative spark probably came not from a brush or pencil, but through writing fun parody slogans with friends — copying famous ads just for laughs. That joy of wordplay slowly shaped something inside me. I often say, “I wasn’t born talented — I was crafted.” Crafted by people who believed in me. My brother, Kunjettan, gave me the first opportunity — inviting me to Delhi in 2002. That move changed everything. I stepped into the creative world, unsure… but open. Along the way, many priests, nuns, mentors, and friends saw something in me. They encouraged, guided, and even challenged me to do more, to explore. And slowly, the artist in me began to take shape. And then came Jeshma — my thought’s partner and better half. She gave me the courage to leave my job and start ROYALTHOTZ. Her strength, trust, and constant support became the real foundation behind this dream. Now, our sons Nevan and Nathan — they too are my teachers in many ways. Their curiosity, creativity, and joy remind me that learning never ends. I love to learn… from everyone. I always tell people, “If you want to become an artist, just go to nature — it teaches everything.” In fact, in my office, I’ve written: “Nature — The Teacher.” I admit, I’m lazy sometimes — but I don’t sleep much. I stay up, dreaming. I once posted on Facebook: “Once, I had no dreams of becoming anything… yet I kept dreaming. As others reached their goals, I celebrated with them… their pride felt like mine. Even now, my dreams continue… I still don’t know what I wish to be… but I keep dreaming… endlessly.” From a boy who never thought he was creative… to a visual communicator, an entrepreneur, a storyteller. ROYALTHOTZ was born not from talent, but from trust, time, and transformation.

Colour Your Thoughts — because dreams are not always born… sometimes, they are built.
